About Larry Balzer
Larry D. Balzer, MD, FAAFP, is a board certified physician in Family Medicine with a focus on Senior Health. He has served patients in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas with kindness and compassion since 1971.
Dr. Balzer received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1971. He completed his residency in Family Medicine from Scott Medical Center on the Scott Air Force Base in Illinois in 1977.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Additionally, Dr. Balzer is a member of numerous professional organizations including: The American Geriatrics Society, the American College of Physician Executives, the Texas Medical Association, the Tri-County Medical Society, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
In addition to his degree in medicine, Dr. Balzer earned a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Theology degree from Buxton University in England.
He and his wife, Gaye Lynn, a Registered Nurse, have five children and reside in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Dr. Balzer is specially trained in senior health and will partner with you in making a health plan and decisions regarding any treatments you may need. He will work with you to offer the following services:
